Product Details
Uses
Salads, sandwiches and as a garnish where a stronger colour addition will add depth of field to the appearance.
Appearance
A mix of bright green sprouts and feathery, pale strands with a small sprout or seed head.
Storage
To maintain freshness, store Flowerdale Farm Alfalfa & Broccoli Sprouts between 1-4 degrees C. Sprouts should be consumed within 14 days of packing. Rinse lightly under cold clean water before use.
Health Benefits
Alfalfa is rich in antioxidants, containing protein, calcium, potassium, carotene, iron, and zinc. Vitamins A, B1, B6, C, E and K are also present.
