Baby Target Beet
A stunning plate element when thinly sliced.
Baby Target Beets are also known as Chioggia or bullseye beets, due to their distinctive red and white ringed flesh (like a bullseye or target). They have a mild flavour, slightly sweeter than red beets.

Uses
Unlike red beets, Target Beets don't bleed, so they are ideal to use in salads. Slice thinly and serve raw as a plated side or garnish, in salads, or open sandwiches. Baby Target Beets are also enticing when pickled, boiled, baked, roasted or grilled. Delicious when dressed with light vinaigrette.
Appearance
Red outer skin with concentric light-red and white rings in the flesh.
Storage
To maintain freshness, store Flowerdale Farm’s Baby Target Beets between 1-20 degrees C. Product should be consumed within 14 days of packing. Rinse lightly under cold clean water before use.
