Uses

Summer Shoots are Asian style sprouts that are perfect in salads and stir-fries.  Use in a variety of cold dishes as garnish and as a flavour base for soups, sauces and ragout.

Pale stems with yellow leafy sprout

Storage

To maintain freshness, store Flowerdale Farm shoots between 1-4 degrees C.  Summer Shoots should be consumed within 14 days of packing.  Rinse lightly under cold clean water before use.

Health Benefits

Summer Shoots are high in protein and provide a good source of calcium vitamin B1, C, and niacin.
