Ham and Potato Quiche with Karkalla

Use karkalla as a salt subsititue in this simple and classic quiche.

  • 1 Punnet Flowerdale Farm Karkalla
  • 1 cup(s) Ham, roughly chopped
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1 cup(s) Milk
  • 1.5 cup(s) Tasty cheese, grated
  • 1 Small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Waxy potato, diced
  • 10 Cherry Tomatos, halved
  • 1 pinch(es) Black Pepper

Adjust Quantity


  1. Prehead oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a 5 cup capacity pie dish.
  2. Break eggs into a large bowl and mix together with milk, cheese and flour. Add Flowerdale Farm Karkalla, ham, onion, potato and stir thoroughly.
  3. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Place halved cherry tomartos evenly on top.
  4. Bake in oven for 45 minutes or unitl when a skewer inserted comes out clean.
