Margret River Gourmet Escape

The highly anticipated Margaret River Gourmet Escape was held from the 21st – 23rd November. This event was a foodie and wine lovers dream, with a wide range of events to suit every taste and budget.
The heart of the festival was the Gourmet Village at the beautiful Leeuwin Estate Winery, where over 35 international and local culinary stars, 16 of the regions finest restaurants and over 100 delicious food and wine producers came together.
Here Flowedale Farm premium produce was on display at the Bell-Vista stand.
In addition there were many satellite events, such as long lunches in private wineries, iconic beach BBQs, feasts in the forest and exclusive intimate collaboration dinners.
The Margret River Gourmet Escape also included an incredible line-up of fringe events held across the region. These included unique musical experiences, pop-up bars and farmers markets celebrating Australian food and wine.

Spring has arrived at the edible flower farm, which is bursting is with vibrant colour and life. With significantly increased plantings and the installation of our new greenhouse, our production levels are very high and the quality of our edible flowers is excellent.
Our new greenhouse is a welcome addition, which will help ensure a more constant year round supply of product.
Currently we have fantastic supply of Viola, Pansy, Dianthus and Assorted blooms. These varieties are very versatile with a wide range of sweet and savoury applications.
Trimmed Baby Vegetables

Flowerdale Farm has launched a new ‘Chef Ready’ range of trimmed baby vegetables.
Hand graded, washed and trimmed, our baby vegetables are harvested from a variety of heirloom crops and have strong flavour and crisp delicate texture.
Trimmed baby veg are available in 500g resealable punnets which extend shelf life by helping to maintain an ideal product temperature. Being stackable, this punnet design also offers improved efficiencies in freight and logistics.
Varieties include heirloom carrots, finger fennel, white turnip, golden beetroot and target beetroot. Flowerdale Farm is currently offering discounted introductory pricing on the full range of Trimmed Baby Veg.

Fine Foods Australia Trade Show

Flowerdale Farm exhibited at the Fine Foods Australia trade show from Monday 15th - Thursday 18th September at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center.
Visitors to the show discovered our exclusive new microgreen varieties, export ready cut cress, petite and baby vegetables, edible flowers and Australian native products.
Guests experienced first-hand the wide range of microgreen leaf shapes, colours and flavours though our stunning living-wall display. Flowerdale Farm produce also featured in the creations of Australia’s leading chefs, as they battled it out in the Australian Culinary Challenge live kitchen competition.
