Appearance: Soft and supple micro sprigs with tiny vibrant green pointed leaves
Flavour: Rich, earthy flavour
Applications: Ideal for creative cocktails. Use as an innovative garnish for red and white meats or an earthy plate element to accompany hors d'oeuvres, canapés and charcuterie. Its spicy flavour combines well with red meats, smoked fish and soft cheeses.
Complements: Red meats, kangaroo, pork, smoked fish, soft cheeses, mustard, pine nuts, chestnuts, white beans, pastry, eggs, butter, mushrooms, citrus, whiskey and spirits.

Flavours & Trends: Microgreen Coriander

Appearance: Long slender leaves which occasionally have a spherical brown coriander seed attached at the tip.
Flavour: Intense aromatic coriander flavour with slight anise and pepper notes
Applications: Delicious in Indian or Asian meals. This garnish zings with flavour and is ideal for adding dimension and texture to savoury dishes.
Complements: Terrific in salads and as a garnish for savoury soups. Its strong flavour combines well with chicken, beef, pork, shellfish, avocado, tomato, finger lime, mango, natural yogurt, pumpkin, carrot and corn.
Trends: Pan seared scallops served with cauliflower puree pancetta jam and nduja crumb are crowned with Microgreen Coriander at Adelaide venue @2nd6th
New Seasonal Product: Lovage

Lovage is a seasonal product now available from Flowerdale Farm through the Glenora Heritage Produce range. Lovage leaves have a strong aromatic smell and taste similar to celery. This European herb is a member of the parsley family and is frequently used in salads, casseroles, soups and stews as well as in potato, pork and poultry dishes.
Lovage combines well with apples, carrots, zucchini, cream cheese, ham, mushrooms, rice, sweetcorn and tomatoes. It also complements bay leaves, caraway, chilli, chives, dill, garlic, oregano, parsley and thyme. A unique application of Lovage is the ability to crystallize leaves and stems for decorating cakes.
Lovage is currently available in 50g punnets, with good supply anticipated for the next few months. All Glenora products are picked to order so please ensure orders are received to Flowerdale Farm by 8am each Tuesday or Friday.

Appearance: Small, ruffled-edged blooms in a stunning selection of magenta, pink and white tones.
Flavour: Subtle, sweet clove-like flavour
Applications: We have so many of these beautiful blooms available and they look great in desserts, ice-blocks, cocktails and sprinkled through salads.
